About Jody Millard
Jody Millard was born and raised in Soddy Daisy, Tennessee, and is still a resident of the Soddy Daisy community today. He started his career in the pest control industry as a technician servicing homes and businesses for pests and termites over 30 years ago. After years of learning the business first hand he decided to go out on his own and start his own pest control company with a small truck and a dream. And on January 17th of 1996, his dream became a reality and Jody Millard Pest Control was born.
Jody’s home was his first office and in only nine short months his company’s rapid growth forced him to hire 2 secretaries, a route technician and he moved into his first office building at 6432 Hixson Pike. His company continued to grow both in size and reputation and in January of 2001, he relocated his office to 1906 Hamill Road. And with continued hard work, strict quality standards and customer loyalty, Jody Millard Pest Control continued to outgrow its staff and location which once again forced him to find a larger location to operate his business. Jody decided to design and build our new office building which is now our current location right next door to the second office building on 1906 Hamill Road. Whenever Jody needs to be reminded of how far he has come in the pest control industry all he has to do is look next door at the small white office building that was once too big for his staff.
Jody Millard Pest Control continues to be the largest locally owned and operated pest control company in the Chattanooga area. He is the current president of the Tennessee Pest Control Association and annually Jody Millard Pest Control proudly supports our community through financial contributions and donations of service.
